A joy of being a grandad is enjoying things set up for a younger generation without looking or feeling odd. One such delight for me is SEA Life in Brighton.
"Opened as Brighton Aquarium in 1872, it is the oldest continuously operating aquarium in the world," says Wikipedia.
The time we visited it was very busy, children and carers galore.
While many exhibits are unspectular, I loved to see the photogenic but unphotographable skates which hung around under the aerating bubbles in their huge tank.
It was the smaller items like these smaller creatures, sidelit in varying colours, that pleased me most.

Some swimming jellyfish were the stars but they are on little videos that I must learn how to display on this blog.
