Going Live 2025

Published: 28 October 2025

It's been an age since starting to get this blog ready for others to read / chance upon / whizz by. So, here it is, complete with errors, broken links, missing images and an imperfect format. My hope - rather than plan - is to put up short articles fairly often.

[The near duplicate is a fault in Joomla!, the CMS I use and like. Creating a copy of an article does that, then sometimes it's hidden from the Admin back end. So, ignore Going Live - it shouldn' t be there.

It will take a while (writing at 19 September 2025) but hopefully not as long as I fear.

While not a compulsive writer, I think I have things to share. At minimum I will enjoy the process.

Back soon!

As a rambler I am keen that public footpaths remain open and used. When a map shows a way, it should be there.

The other day the map—so I thought—showed a track next to a river that allowed access to tracks in the wood that lay between me and our holiday base. The day had been great that far, wind and showers not clouding the joy of being in the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) again.
